Thank You x 3

Posted on

Ahoy!  It’s been a while!  Unfortunately, once again, my “full time” routine has gotten the better of me!  Some day, I hope to be able to “play” more during the day!!  Some day.

At any rate, I thought I would post a couple of Thank You cards that I put together a little while back.  I was asked to create 3 Thank You cards.  Initially I thought, well, since they’re all going to different people I could do 3 of the same – but let’s be honest…..Why would I do that?!! ha ha!!  Especially when I can create 3 unique cards all equally special for those receiving them.

That said, here they are:

PAPER :  Calypso Coral, Very Vanilla, Lucky Limeade

STAMPS:  Blooming with Kindness

INK:  Calypso Coral

TOOLS:  Big Shot – Floral Frames Framelits, 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder (Retired), Scallop Edge Border Punch

ACCESSORIES:  Basic Pearls, Dimensionals

PAPER :  Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake

STAMPS:  Blooming with Kindess

INK:  Bashful Blue (Retired), Not Quite Navy (Retired)

TOOLS:  Decorative Label Punch

ACCESSORIES:  Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals

PAPER :  Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White

STAMPS:  Blooming With Kindness

INK:  Crisp Cantaloupe

TOOLS:  Big Shot – Flower Burst Embosslit, Decorative Label Punch, Vine Street Embossing Folder (Retired)

And there you have it!  More to come so check back soon!

It’s the Final Countdown…..

That’s right friends, the final countdown before retiring product go out of sight!!!  We’re down to the final stretch so if you’re wanting stuff, you best hurry over to the shop to get what you can!!  Lots of items have already sold out so it may already be too late.  😦  But still worth having one last looky!!

That said, have you all had a chance to review the new catalogue?  It’s pretty nice and I’m a big fan of the way they laid this one out.  Lots of change but for the good – I think!  At any rate, here’s a little something I did using new goods!!

I made this card for a very special friend of mine.  Our families went away on Holidays together and I wanted to send her a little “thanks” for a nice trip!  So here’s what I came up with:

Here’s what I used to create the above:

PAPER :  Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White, Strawberry Slush, Primrose Petals Core’dinations

STAMPS:  Hearts a Flutter, Label Love

INK:  Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe

TOOLS:  Big Shot – Floral Frames, 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, Artisan Label Punch, Chevron Embossing Folder, Small Heart Punch

ACCESSORIES:  Dimensionals, Pop Cap Top

If you haven’t seen the catalogue yet, you can find it to the right of my blog!

Happy Reading!!

More Thanks!

In my efforts to do up some Thank You’s Post-Christmas, this was one of the ones I came up with.  While most who know me, tend to know one of my favourite colours is Green and mostly anything bright.  However, lately, I feel like Purple has slowly been making its way onto my list of favourites.   With this card, I wanted to play with those two colours and thankfully, I had options!  I love the “Wisteria Wonder” colour from Stampin’ Up!  It’s a nice soft Purple and goes really well with brighter greens.  Sadly, this colour will be phasing out soon given the fact that it’s an “In-Colour” for the 2011-2013 run.  Regardless, I will continue to love it.  If you like it, I’d be jumping’ on that wagon soon before this colour disappears completely!!  😉

ThanksFor this card, I used the following Supplies:

*Gray Card Stock
*Textured Green Card Stock
*Whisper White Card Stock
*Designer Series Paper – Sweet Shop
*Vintage Verses Stamp Set – Not Yet Released!
*Wisteria Wonder Ink Pad
*Decorative Label Punch
*PreCut Flowers (from a set I bought ages ago for a friend’s wedding invites)
*Purple Brad
*Basic Rhinestones

A little Thank You…..

My workshop order is in!!!  Huzzah!!  As I anxiously awaited the arrival of this order, and continued to check in on the UPS status link (almost obsessively I’ll admit! – have I mentioned how much I love “fun mail”??), I thought, well, I can make my thank you notes while I wait!!  So I did!  I wanted to create a little something for my customers to let them know how much I appreciated their order.   Below is what I came up with.  It’s a small card, about 4″ x 3″ but it’s the perfect size to say “thanks”!

To make the above, here’s what I used:

*Basic Purple Card Stock
*Certainly Celery Card Stock
*Very Vanilla Card Stock
*Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set
*An Old Blossom Stamp Set I rediscovered(Source unknown)
*Melon Mambo Ink Pad
*Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad
*Decorative Label Punch
*Purple Marker Pen
*Basic Lime Green Grosgrain Ribbon

*As always, anything else you think you’d like to add to it!

What do you think?
